Color a Grayscale Lantern with Brandmark AI Color Wheel

The useful part

Brandmark AI Color Wheel is featured here for one specific job: palette suggestions for grayscale illustrations. This guide focuses on that workflow so you can decide whether it fits your task before trying it.

What happened in the demo

Try Brandmark AI Color Wheel. Here’s our original lantern, starting in shades of gray. The tool suggests colors directly on the artwork. This recorded result uses the eight bit NES games palette style. You can see near black, pale gray, off white, and vivid red in the generated version. Treat these as design suggestions.

The example used in the reel

A small, specific input makes the result easier to inspect. Use the example below to understand the scope of the recorded workflow; it is not a promise that a new run will produce an identical result.

Upload the channel-owned original_lantern_icon.png and compare its real generated colors.

Try it yourself

1. Upload the grayscale lantern illustration
2. Inspect the suggested palette styles
3. Compare the NES-style colors with the original artwork

Start with material you own or have permission to use. Save the original and compare it with the output before moving the result into a real project. If the interface has changed, follow the current official instructions linked below.

What to check before using the result

The recorded palette is #010001, #bebbc5, #fdfcfc and #f32e10. This is design inspiration, not a licensing or brand-suitability guarantee.

Keep the task narrow on your first attempt. Check the details that matter to your use case rather than judging only whether the result looks polished. A successful short example is a useful introduction, not a benchmark of the whole product.

Access, free demos & limits

Official sources checked 2026-10-30 list AI Color Wheel among Brandmark's free design tools and state registration is not required. The recorded example confirms a free browser demonstration that day. Color suggestions do not establish brand suitability or commercial licensing.

Availability notes refer to the dated demonstration or source check. Features, limits and sign-in requirements can change. Check the official site before starting a larger project.
